Leila Benelli’s visit to Mikro Primary School, Kuilsriver, South Africa
“As a mother of an ADHD-boy, it was comforting to realise that there is help out there and that there is a life for ADHD children”.
I have read a lot about ADHD and attended many seminars. What was different about this session, was that Leila herself is ADHD, as well as having boys with the same problem. That was an advantage, because she could give practical information and advice from her own experience, as well as from her perspective as a mother of ADHD children.
Not only did she give practical examples, but she also introduced us to the fact that she can assist us with coaching on how to cope as a family with this specific problem. This was an eye opener for me, because this disorder definitely can cause a lot of stress in a family.”

“The reassuring part for me as principal is that there is a life with this disorder, for both the sufferer as well as for the other family members. You just need to stay focused, be positive and take it one day at a time. Leila Benelli really is a big help for the parents who feel frustrated and alone most of the time. Reading her books and watching her DVD’s is very helpful and comforts one to know that there is help out there.”

Leila is inspiring to listen to, not only is she a positive and energised individual, but she also understands her subject matter very well which makes listening to her a great pleasure.
